For those of you who have visited Anegada or dreaming of doing so there is now a really good reason to book that ticket and head back down. The Anegada Beach Club has recently completed construction on seven beach front luxury tents. This isn’t the camping you are used to in the BVI, or anywhere in the world for that matter. Each tent is located just steps from the beautiful aqua colored water with a constant breeze passing thru the canvas walls.
The view from your tent looking out from the large king size bed is pure heaven. Imagine waking up on the beach in Anegada but with the comforts of a luxury hotel. Each tent includes king size bed with netting, bathroom with shower and sink, power and water of course, open air deck area for relaxing on the hammock, and plenty of storage space for your clothing and luggage.
When hungry you can stop at the restaurant for Anegada lobster and Carib served with rice and veg, doesn’t get much better. The chef is also serving up fresh fish sandwiches, pizzas, burgers and tasty conch fritters. You will find all your favorite beers and cocktails at the restaurant bar and also at the beach front lounge bar located a short walk from the reception area.
If you feel like getting out of your hammock for a while there are plenty of activities on property to enjoy. A full size volleyball court, basketball court and badminton are located next to the hotel portion of the resort. Tommy Gaunt Kitesurfing located on the beach offers lessons in kiting, stand up paddle, paddle boards, kayaks and snorkeling. Tommy Gaunt is a world class kitesurfer and certified instructor of kitesurfing and paddle boarding, and offers all levels of lessons, allowing guests to fully enjoy their experience on the water.
